Every year more than 15 thousands kids suffer burns here in peru, in middle of this context, aniquem arrived 21 years ago to faced this reality, supporting the littles survivors of this injuries, getting better their life quality and helping their reinsertion to the society.
ANIQUEM is a not governmental peruvian organization without profit and we have two objectives: To give free integral rehabilitation to all the kids with burns aftermath and to promote a prevention culture for this injuries.
Since its fundation, 21 years ago, aniquem has helped more the 6000 patients, a 30% came from province, getting better their life quality and development their capacity to return to their vital project.

La ONG Fundades nos traspasó su programa de reciclaje de papel y cartón. Esto permitió que nuestro programa “Reciclar para Ayudar” sea 100% autofinanciado y brinde tratamiento a más pequeños.
Dimos un paso importante para atender a más niños en el país. Implementamos nuestra sede en Cusco, donde ofrecemos terapia física y la entrega de prendas compresivas.
Creamos e instauramos el Día de la Prevención de Quemaduras. Desde esa fecha, incrementamos nuestras actividades y mensajes de prevención para evitar estas lesiones.
Participamos del I Campamento Missouri - USA MCBC. Asistieron nuestros pacientes César Tejeda y Rolasinda Cruz y la Dra. Mary Malca.
Cambiamos nuestra imagen. Presentamos nuestro nuevo logo que incluye el dibujo de un niño que representa a nuestros pequeños pacientes.
Nos mudamos a nuestro propio y actual local de Jr. Santo Domingo 255 en Jesús María. Aquí, hemos brindado terapia integral a más de 5000 pacientes sobrevivientes de quemaduras a la fecha.

On October 13, Canadian Friends of ANIQUEM (CAFA) was founded, an organization that has been contributing in the area of social support and educational reintegration in ANIQUEM.
We carried out the "First Camp for Children and Adolescents with Burns Sequelae", where different dynamics and psychological therapies were carried out that help patients overcome obstacles. It was held in the month of July at the Santa Rosa de Quives club.
We organized the first Formation of Monitors for Burn Prevention Workshop in Puente Piedra, with the assistance of 26 people. This prevention initiative had a great impact and was replicated in different districts such as El Agustino, Ate Vitarte and Chorrillos.
We were born with the mission to offer every child burn survivor access to an integral rehabilitation that allows their full development. We started our work generating activities that promoted a culture of prevention and supporting our patients with their transfer to Chile and the United States to obtain their compression garments.
